Job Description:
AES is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team as a remote worker based in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Associate level Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Responsibilities:1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.2. Create and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.4. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.5. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.6. Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and procedures.7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.8. Assist with audits and tax preparation.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.2. CPA certification preferred.3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.6. Independent and hardworking with a strong work ethic.7. Leadership and innovation skills.8.
