Our healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with experience in Healthcare or Dental to join their team remotely and work closely with the CFO of their 700-person employer, whose offices span 7 states on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will have early morning availability (Eastern Time Zone) to collaborate effectively with the CFO and contribute to the company's culture of accuracy and family friendliness.
MUST LIVE in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Accountant Requirements
CPA certification or equivalent experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
Proficiency in healthcare bookkeeping, including knowledge of insurance vs. private pay billing processes.
Demonstrated ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Accountant Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Generate financial reports and statements for review by the CFO, providing insights and analysis as necessary.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial operations.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in healthcare bookkeeping, applying knowledge to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Accountant Compensation
$60,000 - $90,000 base salary, annual bonuses
