Job summary
The Associate Project Accountant is responsible for accounting and risk management for smaller construction projects.This role requires being on-site 5 days a week and includes administrative responsibilities.The Associate Project Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting and invoicing for the project.

Responsibilities
• Maintain project register and prepare month-end postings and allocations.• Control accounts payable and receivable tasks for the project.• Ensure accurate reporting and timely invoicing for the project.• Disseminate month-end project reports to management.• Review project forecasts and resolve outstanding matters.• Identify and assist with resolution of basic project-related accounting issues.• Ensure adherence to project accounting policies and procedures.• Assist with administrative project needs.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance preferred.• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.• Ability to analyze and resolve basic issues.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate level ability to utilize MS Office.• Experience with vlookup, Pivot Tables, and data tracking preferred.
