Accountant

Job Description:

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a motivated and reliable Accountant to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts- Assist with tax preparation and compliance- Support the financial team in completing month-end and year-end close processes- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve business operations- Stay up to date on accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Excellent project management and organizational abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
