Lotus Hospitality is currently seeking a data-driven accountant to join our team in a pivotal role that encompasses all hotels in our portfolio. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger across our entire portfolio, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and utilizing QuickBooks for efficient tracking. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in problem-solving, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time efficiency.Must report to the office every day! (M-F)Responsibilities:Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledgerConsistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting processMake sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficientlyProcess payroll to provide payment to employees on timePrepare all financial statements and bank reconciliationsQualifications:Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar positionBachelor's degree in accounting or related field requiredStrong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systemsMust exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skillsAbout Company:Began as a small company with a single hotel and one man's vision to create a luxury experience accessible to everyone.
