Accountant

Job Description:

General Dynamics is seeking a reliable and hardworking Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company.

Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring- Support the financial planning and analysis process- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures- Participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA certification preferred- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
