Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team. Reporting to senior-level accounting personnel, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting tasks, including but not limited to preparing financial statements, reconciling financial data, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly reconciliations and analyses of general ledger data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly journal entries, supported by relevant documentation.
- Engage in special projects as needed, applying accounting principles and conducting research to resolve complex issues.
- Provide financial advice and recommendations by analyzing operational issues and financial data.
- Strengthen departmental efficiency through cross-training, procedural documentation, and support in audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including experience in financial reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Salary Range: $57,888 - $114,972
