Responsibilities
• Perform and review reconciliations• Complete trial balances and journal entries• Prepare work papers, schedules, and reports• Ensure transactions are recorded according to accounting standards• Demonstrate and explain accounting practices• Prepare analysis of inter-company relationships and transactions• Upload journal entries on a monthly basis• Prepare account reconciliations for department owned accounts• May prepare financial statements and foreign currency translations• Prepare reports for GAAP compliance and respond to audit requests
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline• Minimum two (2) years of financial reporting experience or equivalent• Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and consolidation accounting• Understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and SOX Audit process• Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple deadlines• Proficiency with Excel (Advanced) and other Microsoft Office applications• Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
