MUST have CPA.
assist with the preparation and filing of quarterly, annual and current
reports required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on
forms 10-Q, 10-K, 11-K, and 8-K, as well as quarterly earnings releases.
Additionally, you will assist with technical accounting research,
evaluation and implementation of accounting standards updates. You will
report to the Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting.
Responsibilities:
*Assist with the preparation of the Company's financial statements, note
disclosures and MD&A for both annual and quarterly reporting to the SEC
in accordance with US GAAP standards and SEC regulations, including
filing of SEC forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
*Assist with the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and the
review of accompanying investor presentations.
*Prepare financial statements for benefit plans, including those
reported on Form 11-K.
*Prepare, review and organize information supporting financial statement
disclosures.
*Tag financial data reported on forms 10-K and 10-Q using eXtensible
Business Reporting Language (iXBRL).
*Prepare statement of cash flows on a monthly basis.
*Responsible for stock-based compensation accounting and reporting.
*Prepare and post various journal entries, including those related to
equity, stock-based compensation, hedge accounting, and segment reporting.
*Prepare various account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly
basis, including those related to equity, stock-based compensation, and
hedge accounting.
*Prepare valuation models used to test goodwill and indefinite-lived
intangible assets for impairment.
*Communicate with internal, external and regulatory auditors in support
of annual audits and quarterly reviews.
*Enhance, implement, and maintain internal control procedures with a
focus on automation.
*Support the preparation of the annual Proxy Statement on Schedule DEF 14A.
*Collaborate cross-functionally with members of Tax, Legal, Treasury,
Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Human Resources.
*Assist with the review of proposed commercial scenarios and unique
business transactions, such as debt and equity transactions, to ensure
US GAAP is applied appropriately.
*Assist with researching, evaluating and implementing new accounting
standards.
*Assist with the accounting for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures,
including preparation of opening balance sheets and gain/loss calculations.
*Review various financial statements prepared for statutory reporting
purposes in foreign jurisdictions.
*Assist with other financial accounting and reporting projects as they
arise.
Qualifications:
*Bachelors Degree - Accounting, Finance, or Related required
*Licenses/Certificates/Designations - Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
required
*Progressive public accounting experience (3-5 years required)
*SEC reporting experience
*Excellent understanding of US GAAP
*Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
*Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
*Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
*Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
*Ability to research emerging technical accounting issues
*Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
*Pertinent state and local laws, codes, and regulations
*Big 4 or large national public accounting firm experience preferred
*Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) financial reporting platform preferred
*XBRL tagging and document management knowledge preferred
