Key Responsibilities: Oversight of the Accounts Payable team Demonstratable interpersonal communication skills, Ability to work collaboratively with others, deal with conflicting points of view, and build rapport with internal and external contacts. Special project work and assistance on projects with Controller and other staff Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university- Accounting or finance degree can be supplemented with 7 years' experience Five years or more Excellent math, verbal, and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft products, accounting software and database activity Thorough knowledge of accounting principles Able to work independently and practice good judgment and also work as a member of a team Preferred Qualifications Accounting experience in higher education appreciated About Grinnell College
