Larry Brantley Talent is working with a national advertising agency to place an Account Supervisor for their business in the Northeast.
Good Giant is the largest gaming-focused advertising agency in the United States and operates in Reno, NV, Mobile, AL, Chicago, IL and Tulsa, OK. We provide comprehensive marketing services to various brands with a specialization on tribal and commercial casino resorts from coast to coast.
DESCRIPTION Lead and motivate the account team towards helping the client and their brands. Be an active listener, partner and brand steward on a daily basis. Empower team members, foster collaboration and continually work to develop and promote fresh, new ideas. This position acts as the agency spokesperson and oversees the execution of approved communication programs while identifying new business opportunities with the existing client. Provides direct supervision of Account Executives and Account Coordinators as needed. This position will be located in Washington D.C., Baltimore, MD or Philadephia, PA and will report to the Director of Account Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES Point-person for senior-level client contacts Oversee daily client management with the support of the account team Spearheads the presentation to client of annual plans and significant interim programs Can shepherd a project from initial inquiry through to scope development, strategy and delivery Build and nurture a strong client relationship Continually work with the account service team to provide insightful input to the client and team members to promote the brand's strategic goals Maintain a positive relationship between the agency and client. Provide leadership within the agency on behalf of the client Oversee the review and approval of creative concepts to determine whether they meet the creative brief, strategic goals and marketing plan of the client Seek to build additional business opportunities with the client Determine how to best match services to the client's needs, within budget Oversee all advertising and marketing functions, including strategic and creative development and integrated marketing Lead strategic development of marketing and communications plans to grow the client's business Oversee creative brief development, ensuring team members craft creative briefs that support the client's strategy and positioning Lead the development of marketing and communications objectives and strategies for annual planning and individual projects Provide clients with budgets and estimate updates Understand the role and function of all agency disciplines to determine when other staff members should be brought in to projects Oversee monthly client billing process, account receivables and manage an annual budget per client Generate financial forecasts for client portfolio on a regular basis Understand the agency revenue and profitability model and ensures work is completed within budget by project Guide account team as they work with client's media team to execute traditional and digital media plans Keep supervisor informed of key initiatives and/or account concerns Supervise, mentor and motivate account service team members Travel to client location(s) as necessary QUALIFICATIONS THE BASICS: Minimum of 5 years of agency experience, and 7-10 years of overall experience Must have experience working within the gaming category Experience managing and developing a team Experience managing a gaming account from the agency side, preferably in an account management capacity Prior experience with large, multi-property or multi-brand accounts Bachelor's degree in advertising or marketing is preferred though equivalent experience is acceptable Experience with integrated marketing campaigns, including direct mail, SEM, applications, social media, website development, email distribution, and promotions Outstanding client service and relationship building skills Strong willingness to learn and roll up sleeves in a fast pace environment TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Prior experience working in a project management software solution preferred Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
