We're looking to hire an Account Specialist/Customer Service role for a leading national Retail Corporate and distribution center. This brand encompasses iconic outdoor and activity-based lifestyle and workwear brands.
You'll join the team to communicate and collaborate with sales, the customer, the distribution center and other departments and ensure that product is correctly ordered, priced, ticketed, processed and shipped by the requested time.
This is a 4 month W2 contract which could extend or convert to a permanent role. The role is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and is ideally hybrid. Remote candidates may be considered but the preference would be onsite 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities: Efficiently manage assigned orderbook by entering, revising, and releasing orders for processing. Provide excellent customer service by offering product specification and product availability information Proactively assist customers, sales representatives, members of the management team, or coworkers with inquiries, requests for information, or resolution of complex issues Planning and Organizing including aligning with broader organizational goals and staging activities with relevant milestones and schedules Anticipates and adjusts effective contingency plans. Requirements: Past Corporate or Retail experience preferred, or past Customer Service Experience or role Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office Knowledge of SAP and Cognos reporting preferred Ability to Learn: Learns quickly, experiments to find new solutions and extracts lessons learned from failures and mistakes. Attention to Detail: Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task and provides information in a useable form and on a timely basis to others who need to act on it. Communicates Effectively: Is effective in a variety of communication settings while listening attentively.
