Responsibilities
• Verify and post details of business transactions to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases• Audit invoices against purchase orders and process for payment• Investigate and resolve payment issues with vendors and purchasing agents• Compute and record charges, refunds, and costs• Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, and other financial records• Reconcile general ledger accounts• Compile cost reports and balance sheets• Monitor accounts payable and receivable• Perform spot checks of inventory during month-end• Handle expense reports
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint• Advanced abilities with Excel• Strong mathematical skills• Ability to read and interpret documents• Ability to write reports and correspondence• Supervisory experience is a plus• Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting
