The Duck Company is seeking a seasoned, industry experienced Account Manager who will actively contribute to strategic revenue growth in our national sales channel.
This position will support our National Partnership Manager/s and the company's highest profile accounts, including multidoor specialty retailers, hotel, airport, and national park concessionaires, as well as regional/national retailers.  This individual will be responsible for driving existing National account revenue and market share and assisting the team in capitalizing on new account opportunities.
They will do this by actively engaging with customers, developing strong working relationships, offering high levels of customer service, collaborating cross functionally, and ultimately providing the necessary level of support to set the team up for success. Please note: This is an in-person, full-time position in Arvada, CO. Remote work is not offered.  To achieve success in this role you will: Engage with customers throughout the sales & pipeline development process. Present the brand through phone calls, digital presentations, and in person meetings. Provide operational support for the National sales team including: Serving as a first point of contact for national account customers. Preparing customized presentation and sales materials. Finalizing, updating, and submitting customer orders in a timely manner. Consulting with customers on opportunities to support their business. Responding to questions on orders, status, product, shipping, costs, etc. Resolving problems that arise with orders, accounts, production, or shipping. Foster and develop meaningful relationships with our customers, sales reps, and cross functional teams. Exercise discovery methods to uncover key account insights and opportunities. Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and execute customer specific strategy and initiatives. Travel up to 15% to visit customers and support our tradeshow presence. Earning potential of $75,000 - $95,000, no cap on commission Base Salary of $60,000 – $70,000 dependent upon non-discriminatory factors such as experience Commission Opportunity – 15K to 30K (no caps.) Start with established current accounts. Commission paid on each written sale. other bonus commission potential w/ contests, initiatives, etc. In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

Mental/Physical Requirements:  While in the office this position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. While traveling, this position requires the incumbent to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and sitting for long periods.
