POSITION SUMMARY The Account Manager will serve as the client expert and focus on supporting the daily relationships with our managed lab clients, comprised of toxicology and molecular diagnostics testing for ongoing support in addition to identifying areas of growth for client and LLS for continued and long-term successes.
The incumbent is responsible for daily documentation regarding clients, file maintenance, and excellent customer support for our clients and LLS departments, while adhering to department and company goals, policies, and deadlines.
Physical Demands/Work Environment Requirements Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. All prospective employees must pass a background check post offer.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Qualifications Minimum high school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 to 5 years as Account Management Specialist or equivalent experience and education. Prior experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.
Knowledge Requirements Outstanding communication skills with a thoughtful and collaborative approach to relationships Client focus, attention to detail, proactive approach for conflict resolution and finding solutions. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at once while maintaining excellent composure. Ability to synthesize information from all resources to make recommendations and referrals for growth opportunities with LLS and a path for client satisfaction and retention. Highly organized and ability to prioritize client and LLS objectives. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and BASIC DUTIES Consistently demonstrate LLS' core values daily Develop and maintain positive working relationships with assigned client base and internal LLS teams to maximize client satisfaction and retention. Work cross-functionally to provide key customer feedback and process improvements Provide excellent client interaction, while managing and keeping interactions and relationships positive. Desire to question, probe, and/or challenge clients and/or internal teams in order to ensure ultimate needs are met Creative use of problem-solving skills to ensure clients are satisfied. Ability to reconcile data from multiple sources to continually drive value for customer satisfaction and retention Proactively facilitate client outreach, including but not limited to check-in calls, meetings, emails, and texts. Be available and flexible on time spent throughout the day to field ongoing client questions and address accordingly. Acknowledge and/or respond to all client and management inquiries by EOD daily. Notification to client principle of down instrument same day. Respond to high volume of intakes and emails regarding client concerns and needs. Maintain documentation of client interactions via tasks, meeting notes, and CRM. Maintain and update client logs, files, and tasks daily. Complete weekly and monthly reports as directed. Identify upselling opportunities and retain customers to drive additional revenue Update LIS for lab clients with users, locations, profiles, icd codes, and medications. Provide back up support when peers are out of office or unavailable. Demonstrates judgement with guidance from Sr. Account Manager/Supervisor as needed to resolve or escalate issues timely. New staff training as designated. Monthly peer and client review of New Account Set Up, including Teams Channel, Buckets, Labels, and Compass Other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Complete mandatory training and professional development as required or requested. Attends company meetings as required or requested. Ensures adherence to all State and Federal laws, guidelines and regulations including compliance with CLIA and CAP regulations. Maintain HIPAA requirements at all times.
