Providence Health Plan is calling an Account Manager who will: Be responsible for retaining and servicing assigned commercial groups
Provide strategic account oversight, annual renewal negotiations and annual contract review
Consult with producers and groups and identifying opportunities to expand Providence Health Plan services and relationships
Be a part of an Account Management Team that manages approximately $500 million of insured premium revenue, with each Account Manager averaging more than $75 million annual revenue contribution
Balance member and group retention with appropriate loss ratio and financial performance targets
Work with assigned groups including large employers, national accounts, associations and trusts
Please note the following important details regarding this role: This is a hybrid role, that will service clients throughout the Southwest Oregon Region Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
3+ years' of experience in the insurance industry or industry related sales and / or service with an emphasis on direct, in person client contact required
Experience and comfort with public speaking and/or group presentation
Required upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information
Preferred qualifications for this position include: 5+ years' of experience in the insurance industry or industry related sales and / or service with an emphasis on direct, in person client contact required
Strong carrier background with understanding of Health Plan operations and customer service issues balanced with changing market needs
Residential State Insurance License - Oregon
