Eldergrow brings nature indoors to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Memory Care Communities offering residents a therapeutic connection to nature through innovative gardening sessions, products & services.

About the Position

The Eldergrow Account Executive (AE) works to support the Therapeutic Horticulture Garden (THG) Program at assigned Skilled Nursing Communities across California (with a focus in Northern California).

This position is funded through a grant in partnership with LeadingAge California (LACA) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The AE will liaise between the participating senior living community partners, LeadingAge California, and Eldergrow.

This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits including 401k, medical, dental, vacation, and sick time.

Location:

Blend of remote and in the community

Additional Requirements:

Must reside in central or northern California and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Primary focus of this role:

As the AE, you are the executive 'face' of Eldergrow. Main responsibilities will include customer service relationship-building with community executives and other staff, educator oversight, program engagement, quality control and garden health, grant compliance, data collection and evaluations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

First Point of Contact (POC) for assigned LACA communities (focus on, but not limited to Northern CA)
Develop and nurture relationships with Administration, Marketing/Admissions, Life Enrichment Staff, Nursing and Rehabilitation staff.
Ensure Grant Compliance (customer support, review and provide data for reports, support invoicing)
Ensure quality control through regular customer check-ins, class evaluation results, online garden checklist results, and monitor garden health, attractiveness, and safety.
Ensure Services are delivered (EEs assigned, classes scheduled, Notify AD about EE Gaps)
Provide Bi-Annual resident and garden impact and wellness goal Reviews to Communities
Represent Eldergrow at stakeholder meetings
Support onsite & virtual trainings / events
Assist in garden rehomings and reinstallations as needed
Manage, schedule and support Educators to ensure session goals are met
Serve as acting Educator at one local garden, act as substitute Educator as needed to meet grant compliance requirements
Participate in team meetings, e.g. customer service, operations, etc.
Support other Eldergrow teams as needed
Overnight travel required to distant communities
Other duties as assigned by Eldergrow

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in project management (2+ yrs), grant oversight, customer service, data collection & analysis and public speaking contribute to being successful in this position. Familiarity with senior living and/or elders ideal. Moderate gardening knowledge required.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, and the ability to drive. Must successfully pass a background check applicable to the position.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive and CRM experience.
