The Account Development Specialist is responsible for maximizing sales and marketing of supplier brands to a targeted account base.They must maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders/gatekeepers of the supplier accounts.The role involves being active with in-market events and education.

Responsibilities
• Maximize sales and marketing of assigned supplier brands within assigned accounts• Serve as the expert and resource in developing beverage and marketing strategies and plans for growth of assigned supplier• Research trends, category, and portfolio to ensure supplier goals are met• Present new products and beverages, and conduct business reviews• Maintain relationships with influencers and present new products and listings/menus• Facilitate account visits and events for suppliers and management• Assist sales team in driving supplier brands• Develop and deliver training modules to sales team and customers• Determine specific needs of accounts and define POS needs to the supplier• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers• Obtain appropriate distribution of supplier brands throughout account base• Maintain and build strong relationships with key stakeholders/gatekeepers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience• Minimum of 3 years in sales or industry related experience• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs• Results-oriented professional with communication and customer service skills• Ability to multi-task, work independently, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines• Analytic and reporting skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
