Full job description Description: Responsibilities include:
Receiving and unpacking samples Physically delivering orders and samples throughout different areas/floors of the hospital and/or clinic Identifying the test the sample is for Checking for contamination Preserving the sample properly Sorting and cataloging each item accurately Unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas Accurately identifying and labeling specimens Packing and shipping specimens to proper testing facilities Properly preparing and storing excess specimen samples Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Resolving and documenting any problem specimens Making sample follow up phone-calls Introducing and preparing biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing 2 Shifts Available: Monday Through Friday
1st Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am Skills: Laboratory, Specimen processing, lab runner, Phlebotomy, Accessioning, Specimen collection, Data entry, Customer service, Patient information
