The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Child Health Critical Care, Pediatric Intensivist - All Ranks The Department of Child Health at the University of Missouri is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the division of Critical Care.
The PICU is a 13-bed unit with multiple pediatric specialties including active general surgery, neurosurgical, ENT, orthopedic surgery and plastic surgical programs. There are approximately 1,000 admissions/year.  The multi-disciplinary team consists of residents, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, social workers and dietitians.  A team of individuals dedicated solely to pediatric transport provides mobile intensive care services to our region.
Responsibilities :
Patient care in the PICU Involvement in a thriving sedation service Teaching of residents and medical students Clinical research activity is pursued and encouraged. Minimum Qualifications: MD / DO Board certified Pediatrician BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care Preferred Qualifications: Candidates will be evaluated on additional training in Anesthesiology, Cardiology or Pulmonary Medicine.  Employees of the University of Missouri and University of Missouri Healthcare are eligible for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
