The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Child Health Critical Care, Pediatric Intensivist - All Ranks The Department of Child Health at the University of Missouri is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the division of Critical Care.
The PICU is a 13-bed unit with multiple pediatric specialties including active general surgery, neurosurgical, ENT, orthopedic surgery and plastic surgical programs. There are approximately 1,000 admissions/year. The multi-disciplinary team consists of residents, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, social workers and dietitians. A team of individuals dedicated solely to pediatric transport provides mobile intensive care services to our region.
Responsibilities :
Patient care in the PICU Involvement in a thriving sedation service Teaching of residents and medical students Clinical research activity is pursued and encouraged. Minimum Qualifications: MD / DO Board certified Pediatrician BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care Preferred Qualifications: Candidates will be evaluated on additional training in Anesthesiology, Cardiology or Pulmonary Medicine.
