Salus University is seeking qualified applicants for a Full Time Academic Coordinator for Division of Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming (GISP).
The Division of Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming is house in Academic Affairs at Salus University. The university-level division collaborates with all offices and colleges at Salus to facilitate innovative, partnered approaches to professional growth and development. The department currently consists of the Division Dean, the Director of Interprofessional Practice and Education, a Senior Academic Coordinator, and an Academic Coordinator. The successful candidate for this new academic coordinator will report to the Dean and work closely with the other members of the division.
Primary Function:

To support the development, implementation, and assessment of international student cohorts, interprofessional education, and continuing education, across all health science programs/departments. This is done through collaboration with university academic and administrative departments in addition to external partners to provide and request support for programs and events.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Support students throughout their degree and certificate program from admissions through degree conferment as well as assist with identifying housing accommodations
Promote academic success through personal and professional development opportunities
Develop orientation programming and materials to integrate students into the university and surrounding communities
Coordinate academic schedule, administer online exams and facilitate cultural celebrations and excursions
Collaborate with the offices of admissions, registrar and bursar on issues relevant to international students and/or students enrolled in specialized programs
Collaborate with the office of communications on marketing efforts, the Office of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations on alumni engagement through continuing educations events
???Coordinate online and in-person programs as well as organize speaker materials, submit materials for CE accreditation and attendee certification
Attend events in the evenings and weekends as indicated
Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree or 3 years in a similar position with comparable level of responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Other Requirements:
Demonstrated computer literacy in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and the Google Suite
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of individuals within the program the University and with our external partners
Strong written and verbal skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a task driven environment
Strong organization skills and ability to work both independently and as a team
Other Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience working in/with international students
Functional skills in other language(s)
Experience working in/with international students
Functional skills in other language(s)
Experience with Blackboard, Cvent and/or Constant Contact
Salary Range:

$51,000-$56,000 based on experience
