Academic Advisor Wilson College of Business Professional Distinction Operations
Impact & Responsibilities: Provides accurate and precise academic advising and guidance to all undergraduate Wilson College of Business students; represents Wilson College at events that involve promotion, recruiting, and advising of students; makes formal presentations to a wide variety of audiences; maintains student records as appropriate; analyzes recruiting, retention, and student performance data; supports the internationalization strategy of Wilson College; and serves as liaison with other colleges and departments on a wide range of curricular issues.
Requirements: Master's degree in business, student affairs, counseling, or related field; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience working as a member of a collaborative team; ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders; and ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Graduate student experience will be considered.
Preferred: At least one year of combined experience in academic advising, student affairs, teaching, and/or business-related experience; knowledge of University and Wilson College of Business policies and procedures; experience with transfer and/or adult learners; and bilingual Spanish speaking skills.
