Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain records (stock lists, inventory, material control, etc.)• Maintain stock locator system and administer document control procedures• Process requests and turn-in documents• Perform load-list and shop-stock list duties• Operate material-handling equipment• Construct bins, shelving, and storage aids• Simplify and standardize maintenance data collection and use• Raise quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data• Handle movement, storage, and maintenance of ammunition• Handle medical and food supplies
Requirements
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED certificate• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards• Must meet citizenship requirements
Key Skills Needed
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and/or typing• Preference for physical work• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
