Job Purpose: Machining Technician/CNC Operator is responsible for assembling machine components, as well as erecting, testing, teardown and shipping Pipe Machines and other equipment .
Key Accountabilities: Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area. Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized Set up, adjust and operate CNC equipment for metal cutting (turning or milling) Measure and install tools into equipment Perform self-inspection for the parts resulted from the machining operation Work from blueprints and process control documents Responsible for quality of parts produced Responsible for documentation and identification generated or related to production of the job Work within close tolerances Work in a safe manner Required Education & Preferred Certifications 2+ years of experience in similar role Required Knowledge / Skills Ability to read and interpret routine instructions. Ability to read drawings & perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to operate CNC equipment (turning or milling).
