Role Overview:
As the Vice President of Operations for our Lumber Division, you will play a pivotal role in steering the operational excellence and strategic direction of our lumber yard operations. This leadership position is integral to fostering a culture of servant leadership, empowering teams, and driving the company towards achieving its goals. You will report directly to the Executive Vice President/COO and collaborate closely with Regional Operations Managers in Lumber, the CEO, CFO, and other key departments to ensure cohesive operations and superior service delivery.

Competitive Salary: Starting from $228,000 to $320,000 annually, based on experience, plus profit sharing.
Work Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility required for additional hours and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of lumber yard operations, ensuring the production and delivery of quality products.

Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing team collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Drive operational efficiency, meeting production schedules, and maintaining high standards of quality control.
Local and overnight travel may be required to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience.
At least 10 years of experience in the building material industry, with a focus on lumber.
Proven leadership experience with strong skills in team management and development.
Deep knowledge of lumber purchasing principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of typing 35+ WPM.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to maintain company-required liability insurance.
