Atlas Technologies is looking for a Zero Trust Architecture Engineer to join our team and help us design and implement network security based on zero trust principles. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud and hybrid environments, as well as providing guidance and support to other engineers and stakeholders.

In this role you will work closely with stakeholders, other engineers, and network security teams to deliver our customer the most efficient use of resources and technologies in support of ZTA. You will work with all stakeholders to identify technology gaps while implementing security tools and techniques to ensure real time network defense. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage technical issues, and balance business needs and technical constraints to maximize business benefit.
Pay Range: $125,000 - $155,000, depending on experience.
You Will: Plan, implement, and maintain network security based on zero trust principles using Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange or other tools and platforms.Apply strategic networking and security concepts to minimize the attack surface, reduce risk, and protect against compromise and data loss.Implement the seven elements of a successful zero trust architecture: verify who, verify what, verify where, assess risk, prevent compromise, prevent data loss, and enforce policy.Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues and provide recommendations and solutions.Work with other engineers and teams to ensure alignment and integration of zero trust architectures across the organization.Design a scalable, configurable, and resilient Zero Trust Architecture solutions that includes components and systems for the entire environment (hardware, software, security, and networking) that integrates seamlessly in a multi-domain environment.Collaborate with client representatives and stakeholders to install, integrate, configure, and deploy ICAM solutions and systems.Create and update Build Guides, Installation Guides, Administrator Guides, Configuration Guides, User Guides, and Maintenance procedure for ZTA systems and solutions.Suggest alternative choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis for ZTA supporting systems and infrastructure (e.g., Azure AD, SailPoint, Oracle etc.).Create, validate, and justify security solutions and designs consistent with client objectives and best practices.Provide a high level of customer service through comprehensive communication.Create and execute test cases and test plans for ZT solutions.You Have: U.S. Citizenship.A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.Familiarity with the essential components of a zero trust architecture, such as identity and access management, encryption, micro-segmentation, and adaptive control.Ability to apply strategic networking and security concepts to minimize the attack surface, reduce risk, and protect against compromise and data loss.Experience with tools and platforms that support zero trust architectures, such as Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, cloud-native platform that connects users, devices, and applications securely and scalable.Experience with boundary point management expertise to include knowledge of NETBRAIN, Comply to Connect, Solar Winds, SIEM and Firewall management.Knowledge of Cisco products (ISE, DNA center, Secure networks analytics), IPv6, 802.1x, Zscaler, ZTA, and MSFT Defender 365In-depth knowledge of Identity & Access Management (ICAM) application, integration and O&M experience.Expertise in administering Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), PKI, Directory domains and trusts, security delegation and replication in a multi-domain environment.Experience with or working knowledge of DISA STIGs.Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies.Solid solution design, documentation, and delivery experience.A wide understanding of technology encompassed within Zero Trust.The skill to work with Customer Business leaders and IT Architects to create and articulate a vision for Identity & Access aligned with the Business goals of the organization.Recent hands-on experience with Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022, and Windows 10 environments.We would be impressed if you had: MCSE: Cloud Platform and InfrastructureZero Trust Certified Associate (ZTCA) or Zero Trust Certified Architect (ZTCA) from Zscaler,Zero Trust Cybersecurity Architecture Training from Udacity or the Cloud Security AllianceWant to hear more?
