Job DescriptionWe have partnered with an organization in the service space who is growing rapidly. With recent investment, this organization is poised to scale dramatically and are looking to build out their leadership team. This role is a Vice President of Accounting – Controller,and will lead the charge on strategic finance, reporting, risk management and overall leadership of the firm. With operations spanning across the country, this organization has been around for over 20 years and are ready to explode.
The Vice President of Accounting – Controller will provide important leadership both internally to the organization relative to operations, best practices and scalable processes while working with Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors on strategic acquisitions and integrations. Working directly with the CEO, the Vice President of Accounting – Controller will be the most senior finance person in the organization and will be tasked with build out of the team. Vice President of Accounting – Controller Responsibilities:Lead, monitor and direct best practices relative to financial reporting inclusive of month end close, financial statement preparation, management reporting and ad hoc analysisManage and lead strategic business initiatives and plans inclusive of planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysisWork with leadership to identify areas of opportunity and consult on necessary data initiatives, creation of KPI dashboards and management of overall performanceOversee daily operations of both finance and accounting department inclusive of building out the team as necessaryInstrumental in leadership of ad-hoc projects inclusive of acquisition integrationVice President of Accounting – Controller Requirements:Comprehensive experience in both accounting and finance leadershipLeadership experience in having hired, trained and managed a growing teamMBA and CPA highly preferred with bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related fieldIf you are interested in learning more about this role or would like to be considered for this position, please apply or send your resume directly to .
