Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, Ormat is a leading geothermal company and the only vertically integrated company solely engaged in geothermal and recovered energy generation (REG), with the objective of becoming a leading global provider of renewable energy.Position SummaryAs a member of the US Treasury Department and under the director of the Treasury Supervisor, this position supports the accurate and efficient operations of Ormat's US Treasury and finance needs.Essential FunctionsMonitor daily cash positions, forecast short-term cash flow requirementsManage bank accounts - open/close bank accounts, other bank relationship experienceCash management of bank accounts related to loans - debt service payments, distributions, cash transfers, covenants calculationsResponsible for reporting related to loan agreements, partnerships, and other matters related to finance agreementsCash flow reporting - budget, actualMaintain SOX documentation for related responsibilitiesResponsible for various Treasury reports to managementAssists with setting up LOC's / SBLOC's / surety bondsOther Responsibilities* Complete special projects and other dutiesEducation, Experience, and Skills RequiredA Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education1-3 years' experience in treasury / finance related fieldSAP knowledge / experience preferredExperience with international banking a plusMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust have excellent interpersonal skillsMust be able to understand and summarize financing contractsThe ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with company proprietary informationMust be team-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work with cross functional teamsMust have the ability to work independentlyMust be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation.
