Job Description: Setup Winks, a renowned photography company based in New Orleans, is seeking a talented and organized individual to fill the dual role of Studio Manager and Photographer. As the Studio Manager/Photographer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our photography studio while also utilizing your photography skills to capture high-quality images for our clients.
Responsibilities: Studio Management: Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage studio schedules, including client appointments, photo sessions, and staff shifts. Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and organization of photography equipment, ensuring that all gear is in proper working condition and readily available for use. Studio Logistics: Manage studio logistics such as inventory management, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean and organized studio space. Staff Coordination: Supervise studio staff, including photographers, assistants, and administrative personnel. Provide guidance, training, and support as needed. Financial Management: Assist in budget management, invoicing, and tracking studio expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency. Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote studio services, events, and special offers through various marketing channels. Photography: Photography Sessions: Conduct photography sessions for various clients, including portraits, events, products, and other photography assignments. Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and guidance to clients during photo sessions to achieve their desired aesthetic and vision. Image Editing: Edit and retouch photos using photo editing software to ensure high-quality and visually appealing final images. Client Deliverables: Prepare and deliver final edited images to clients in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding their expectations. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all photos meet Setup Winks' quality standards and adhere to client specifications and preferences. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on photography trends, techniques, and industry best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance photography skills and improve the overall quality of our services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Business Administration, or related field. Proficiency in photography equipment, lighting techniques, and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Passion for photography and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
