Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer for employment in Alburquerque, NM or Denver CO. You'll work in the AECOM Water Business Unit on various water/wastewater projects including, but not limited to building design and structural components for water infrastructure. This position is expected to begin in August 2023. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Prepare structural engineering related calculations for buildings and for hydraulic structures and develop drawings and visual aids Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, and details Prepare specifications, cost estimates, reports, and schedules Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member Ability to work in a team environment Ability to coordinate with other disciplines Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications : Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire Technical experience related to structural design codes Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (CAD, REVIT, STAAD, RAM) Capable of supporting multiple projects at a time and meeting project schedules Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software Additional Information Sponsorship is available for candidates based in the U.S. Relocation is not available for this position Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications , experience, and work location.
