Responsibilities
• Extending Circle's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization• Analyzing requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems• Building and owning microservices for secure APIs that transfer value across blockchain and traditional banking protocols• Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to design and shape Circle features• Troubleshooting program and system malfunctions• Building publicly accessible APIs for integration with complex payment systems• Consulting with management on system principles• Writing infrastructure for great payment experiences• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• 8 years minimum professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Go or Java• Computer Science degree or related field• Technical leadership experience on architecture and system design• Expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchains• Deep understanding/experience with architecture, design, and deployment of scalable software• Knowledge of web3, blockchain, smart contract business logic• Experience with RESTful API design and development principles• Familiarity with cloud services, container orchestration systems, and SQL databases• Focus on coding standards and code quality• Excellent communication skills
