Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company Come join the team that owns all underwriting needs at Bill! You will be an active participant in building a resilient credit risk service. You will be a core member architecting and building a platform for unlocking credit opportunities to SMBs. We'd love to chat if you have: Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 2-3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience Complete confidence in planning, writing, testing, shipping, and maintaining high-quality and resilient code Strong understanding of engineering, product, and design interoperation and communication Test-driven development mindset and pride in code resilience Collaborative, high-trust approach to team building and collaboration Proficiency with monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools Cross-team collaboration with extreme ownership mindset Hands-on experience with GraphQL Experience architecting large scale, high volume, high availability services Love leading technical discussions and mentoring other engineers Experience with Elixir, Ecto and Phoenix Familiarity with event sourcing or Kafka Experience in more advanced or cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Serverless Architectures, AI/ML frameworks, Advanced Cloud Services). Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker. The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
