The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for the Finance department. The person will report to the Sr. Director of Finance. The accountant will work with all departments for receivables and will be expected to provide excellent customer service to internal customers. This position will work closely with the finance team to ensure all balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and the month end close checklist is completed in a timely manner. Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities (in order of importance): Manages accounts receivable and deferred revenues process including sales orders, invoicing, AR Aging tracking and follow up. Code and deposit all incoming cash transactions and deposits in NetSuite. Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations as part of the month end close process and book journal entries as needed. Creates monthly fixed asset reports. Complete game statements and merchandise reporting requirements for MLS in Hyperion Manage insurance requests and lists (certificates of insurance, auto IDs, auto listings, and rental property listings) Ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed. Assist with tax preparation and financial statement audits and tax returns. Provide excellent customer service to internal customers. Should have the ability trouble shoot and handle miscellaneous staff needs independently and through resolution. Create processes to improve efficiency. Provides back up and support to others on the finance team as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with applicable accounting coursework Attention to detail; strong organizational capability. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to work independently when needed. Proven ability to handle confidential information. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience Experience: Proficient in Microsoft office applications especially Excel Account reconciliations Experience in Concur and NetSuite preferred

The base salary range typically paid (based on minimum experience & qualifications) for this role would be $60k - $65k annually.
