Position Overview: The Staff Accountant (SA) is responsible for maintaining financial records, analyzing financial and cost data, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Prepares, verifies, allocates, and posts journal entries in accordance with GAAP standards. Monitors production inventory levels; reconciles and communicates discrepancies. Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts; assists in month-end/year-end closing procedures. Assists with property tax filing as required. Supports internal and external financial audits with documentation/explanations. Compiles and prepares financial analysis reports, including ad hoc reports as needed. Carries out department procedures and assists in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience. Professionalism and a customer service mindset. Strong work ethic to keep pace with daily deadlines. Ability to effectively manage a range of projects and prioritize tasks. Analytical skills with attention to detail. Experience using an ERP system. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
