Sequoia is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, to support the expansion of our business nationwide. This position works closely with the recruiting and senior leadership team to understand the recruiting needs of the business and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting for technical positions for our service lines, which include Technical Operations, Strategy & Programs, Quality, and Scientific Operations.
Responsibilities Act as the subject matter expert for recruitment-related questions for hiring managers and human resources.
Partner and maintain open communication with hiring managers and key business leaders to lead the recruitment process for open positions.
Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
Source qualified candidates, review and screen applicants, and conduct interviews.
Establish an extensive pipeline of candidates for current and future positions.
Coordinate with the hiring team and human resources to draft and provide offers to candidates.
Assist with implementing and furthering initiatives within the recruitment process.
Support the design and upkeep of team metrics, reporting, and KPIs.
Participate in various recruitment projects as needed.
Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent work experience required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
5+ years of experience as a full lifecycle recruiter
Experience in both 3rd party and corporate recruiting, strongly preferred.
Experience with Biotech, Medical Device, or other cGMP regulated environments strongly preferred.
Familiarity or desire to learn general job functions of engineering, project management, and life science roles.
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Greenhouse experience is a plus.
Comfortability with MS Office products, including Visio and Excel.
Excellent communication and leadership skills as well as a strong work ethic.
