Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and integration of software systems in a team environment.• Prepare deliverables such as planning documents, requirements documents, design documents, etc.• Interact professionally with clients/partners.• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain test and data acquisition/control systems.• Troubleshoot system level software, hardware, wiring, and interfaces.• Support new business development activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related field required.• Minimum 3 years of related software experience.• Experience leading software projects is a plus.• Excellent technical communication skills.• Strong understanding of verification and validation fundamentals.• Development experience using modern languages like C/C++/C#, Python, Rust.• Development experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.• Experience with tools like Git, Gitlab, SVN, Visual Studio.• Experience with communication protocols like CAN, UART, ARINC, RS232, RS422, and RS485.• Ability to debug and troubleshoot hardware, software integration.• Experience with National Instruments or Keysight data acquisition equipment.• National Instruments certification (CLD, CLA, CTD, CTA) is a plus.• Ability and willingness to obtain a government security clearance is required.• United States citizenship is required.
