Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life forall.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.As Staff Automotive Systems Architect at Micron, you will be a key member of the systems solutions team within Micron's Embedded Business Unit.This is a customer facing role that will work closely with the Tier 1 customers, OEMS, and chipset vendors to propose solutions based on state-of-the art and emerging memory technologies as they are applied to current and future generation automotive infotainment, telematics, and sophisticated driving assistance platforms!Additionally, through extensive understanding of the automotive market and associated trends, this individual will develop product requirements to build, drive, and implement the next generation leading memory products!Role and Responsibilities:Research, develop, document, and share reusable solution designs with partners and customers.Evangelize joint customer-Micron solutions across the Micron sales and field application team to facilitate growth for both Micron and assigned customer(s).Partner with product line management and product architecture to ensure that the voice of the customer influences product and solutions roadmaps; work with segment marketing and business development to improve the global impact of solutions.Provide thought leadership; keep up with industry trends; influence strategy based on understanding of ecosystem and market.Act as the primary technical evangelist within assigned partners and customer(s) for future, emerging, and next-generation products and solutions.Qualifications and Education:Master's degree in Engineering, Computer science or related field of study5+ years customer-facing presales engineering (systems engineering, solutions architecture) or field applications engineering with a strong focus on solutions.Familiar with the automotive industryTrack-record of building trust and earning influence in critical customer relationships.Collaboration skills and willingness to work in a cross-functional virtual team environment.Ability to define architecture and account strategy and align solutions to the overall Micron direction.Experience working with world's largest automotive OEMs and tier1Systems experience, which could include:Automotive hardware architecture, design, test, and troubleshootingDRAM / managed NAND architecture in systems / solutionsExcellent presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills.Have excellent English skills, both oral and written.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
