Summary: This opportunity is with the Behavioral Health finance team. This role will be focused on supporting new and existing products using underwriting, data and analytics to improve earnings and customer outcomes. This position requires combining business acumen with technical and analytical skills to perform day to day tasks. The position also gives you the opportunity to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and improve business processes.
Role Objectives: Fuel the growth of Evernorth Behavioral health through the ownership of developing new financial monetization levers, focused both on client and provider needs
Inform growth strategy through creation of financial and pricing models to stress test financial and volatility risk within new and emerging products and funding frameworks
Develop early stage quoting models that enable the business to understand and track case level revenue and earnings
Assist with quoting the Enhanced BH OP product and working with product, sales, and medical underwriting to drive product growth
Support valuation of unit cost adjustment and trend in the pricing of new flexible network products
Partner effectively with matrix partners and project teams to explore operational implications of new monetization levers
Own development of reconciliation reporting for behavioral value based contracts and lead work to automate and scale behavioral value based reporting
Qualifications: 5+ years' financial analysis, pricing, or underwriting experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field required
Superior analytical and financial skills
o Manage synthesis of large data sets into meaningful information used to drive actions
o Proficient knowledge of data processing software (Excel)
o Determine opportunities and identify solutions to increase analytical processing efficiency
Intellectual curiosity, a self-starter who proactively seeks to understand
Underwriting or pricing experience preferred
Ability to deal with ambiguity and turn into clear plans / actions
Strong leadership and project management skills
Ability to partner well in a matrixed environment, while driving action independently
Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal (formal and informal)

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 - 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
