By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.Lycopodiumis currently recruiting for an experiencedSenior 12d Civil Designerto join our growing Engineering team in our Perth Office.You will work in a team of civil designer/drafters and engineers managed by ourPrincipal Civil Engineer,as well as liaise with members of other discipline teams to work on mining resource projects that will be constructed all around the world.The tasks you'll performModelling of civil earthworks, roads, drainage and stormwater with engineering input as required from other team membersWork with other discipline team members (e.g. concrete, structural, mechanical) to help ensure suitable integration at discipline interfacesProduce drawings in accordance with client specification and Lycopodium standardsMaintain high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under your controlUndertake volume calculations and material take-offs (Schedule of Quantities)Manage workload and priorities to ensure tasks are completed in an orderly manner within time frames requiredProvide support for construction queries associated with project designs by liaising with on-site personnel as requiredThe expertise you'll bringCertificate or Diploma in Civil Design or Engineering or relevant trade backgroundExperience in 12D softwarePrevious experience with the design of earthworks, roads, drainage, storm water and sewerage reticulation (preferable but not essential)The benefits we'll provideLycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
