The Montgomery County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for school nurse positions that may become available within our division for the ******** school year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The School Nurse will assist the Lead Nurse in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or a licensed professional nurse in Virginia
* One year of nursing experience
* Current certification in CPR and First Aid
* Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
* Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with other team members
* Ability to be dependable and punctual
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
* Previous experience in public health or general nursing, preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with children
Salary: LPN - $32,815.91 - $57,707.85 annual
RN - $34,465.69 - $60,594.11 annual
FLSA: Exempt
