We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Communication Specialist. As one of the primary points of contact for patients and prospective patients, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between our organization, patients, and the wider community.
In this role, you'll operate within a supportive call center environment, where you'll serve as a central hub for communication. Your responsibilities will include promptly answering calls, interpreting referral information, managing appointment schedules, and offering general assistance across various clinical departments spanning a significant geographic area.
What We Look For:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
Experience: A minimum of three years of customer service experience is essential, ideally gained in environments that demand multitasking abilities such as call centers, physician's offices, or the hospitality and retail/service industry. Previous experience in a call center is advantageous.
Other Essential Qualifications: We are looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic team settings and possess the ability to handle challenging situations with composure and empathy. Strong keyboarding and computer skills are a must, along with the capacity to maintain positive communication even in high-pressure scenarios.
