Remove production trash and fiber from production areas in a timely manner. Prepare recyclable waste for shipping or processing. Process (recycle or discard) trash and fiber. Perform sanitation tasks as needed.
ANY AND ALL DUTIES ASSIGNED BY LEADERSHIP. Essential Functions: -Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements. 8 hours Daily
-Effectively monitor and maintain trash and fiber. Remove production trash and fiber from production areas in a timely manner. Prepare recyclable waste for shipping or processing. Process (recycle or discard) trash and fiber. 8 Hours Daily
-Maintain housekeeping in trash and baler area. Monitor and maintain baler supplies. 1 Hour Daily
-Attend required Quality Meetings. 1 Hour Weekly
-Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements. 8 Hours Daily
-Perform sanitation tasks as needed. (i.e.; sweeping, dusting, mopping etc) 8 Hours as Needed
-Trained to use floor scrubbers.
-Complete assigned PM's
-Go through 7 Step Chemical Training to perform cleaning in trash compactor room, for recycling tools, carts, and other tasks necessary.
-Must be willing to work weekends and off-shifts as needed as Needed Weekly
-Teamwork and compliance with plant policies and procedures. 8 Hours Daily
-Utilize Process Excellence tools to improve plant performance and complete specific projects as directed by Department Team Leaders. Must be engaged to learn P.E. and SPS tools and support PE initiatives. 8 Hours Daily
Perform all process CP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks required for the position. Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement deviations. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper production operation. Demonstrate identity of product and, record accurate data on production reports. EDUCATION: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE: -Production experience.
-Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job.
-Successful partners must follow and maintain PCP's.
-Successful Partners must follow and sustain process improvements, Food Safety, Partner Safety and Food Quality. Must maintain absenteeism below 3%.
-Must possess good communication skills.
-Understanding of basic plant processes and willingness to work on production floor.
-Must be adaptable, willing to work as needed
