Job Description:
We are seeking a Remote PR Associate to join our dynamic team at World Fuel Services. As a leading energy company located in Los Angeles, California, we are looking for a passionate individual who can effectively manage public relations efforts remotely on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in PR and possess the confidence and energy to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's public image and brand awareness.2. Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.3. Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage for the company.4. Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.5. Collaborate with internal teams to align PR efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.6. Respond to inquiries from the media and coordinate interviews and press opportunities.7. Manage crisis communications and handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.2. 4 years of experience in PR, preferably in a remote or virtual setting.3. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.5. Confident and energetic personality with a positive attitude.6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and PR software tools.7. Good understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
