Responsibilities
• Serve as lead psychometrician on assigned research projects• Provide daily psychometric-related consulting and problem-solving• Conduct project planning and ensure timely and quality service• Work closely with content test development staff• Review and approve research specs and ensure appropriate procedures• Identify and draft complete psychometric scope• Conduct various psychometric analysis• Ensure quality assurance of all psychometric work• Write SAS programs for web-based scoring• Conduct psychometric reviews of licensed products• Provide psychometric training to staff• Review and approve psychometric-related manual sections• Supervise and train statistical analysts as needed
Requirements
• PhD or ABD in relevant field• Experience in various psychometric areas• Excellent SAS programming skills• At least one year of psychometrics/measurement experience• Good communication skills in English• Additional knowledge/skills in related areas are a plus
Key Skills Needed
• Item response theory (IRT)• Classic and IRT Item analysis• DIF analysis• Vertical scaling• Equating• Norming• Computer adaptive testing• Sampling theory• Statistical software proficiency (SAS, SPSS, etc.)
