We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.We're looking for aEngineering Project Manager / Project Engineerto join our Engineering & Quality team to assist with project management duties, including: preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), stakeholder management, timeline development and management, design reviews, project budget tracking, performing project retrospectives, and interfacing with internal and external vendors and customers.You'll report to the Engineering Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA  office with a flexible hybrid schedule. Occasional travel to vendors and other domestic and international Collectors facilities.What You'll Do:Project ManagementDrive business-critical projects that are parts of larger programs to completionAdminister project meetings on a regular cadenceDevelop project plans and schedulesLead scope reviews, design reviews, and other project-phase meetingsDocument project milestones and deliverablesMonitor project spend and budgetParticipate in RFPs with vendors, both internal and externalSupport of maintenance and equipment repair actions, including validation of repairs and verification of calibrationsContinuous ImprovementIncorporate feedback from various stakeholders to improve the Collectors Project Management ProcessIdentify opportunities for product, equipment, and process improvements throughout Collectors' facilitiesImplement refinements to project documentation and processesPerform project retrospectives and incorporate learningsPerform other duties as assignedWho You Are: Hold a 4-year Mechanical or similar Engineering degreeCAPM or PMP preferred, but not requiredExperience working with vendors and suppliersExperience with complex projects with multiple equipment, process, and software deliverablesStakeholder management skillsExcellent time management skillsTechnical skills, ideally with capital equipmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel or similar skillsExperience with Agile, Sprint, Waterfall, and/or Phase-Gate Project ManagementProject Management software experience (Monday, Wrike, MS Project, etc)Experience working with software Product ManagersFamiliarity with volume-driven operationsStrong problem-solving skillsCurious and seeks to learn new processes, systems, and tools asks questions to ensure understandingTakes direction wellAttention to detailAbility to work in a deadline sensitive environmentPhysical Requirements:Sitting or standing for extended periods of timeExtended periods of time in office and warehouse settingAbility to occasionally lift up to 20lbsWorking around equipment and machineryOccasional exposure to machinery noise from forklifts, injection presses, sonic welders, and other machineryOccasional exposure to warehouse temperatures and humiditySalary Range:The salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000.
