Job summary
The Procurement Specialist III is responsible for the development, execution, and administration of the procurement planWill work with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design Manager to develop a procurement plan to meet project and business objectivesResponsible for driving the procurement activity from supplier identification to source to pay function
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Designs and administers the procurement plan from supplier identification, through rfp solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, and P.O. creation• Responsible for the overall development of the procurement plan• Pre-qualifies suppliers and subcontractors• Complies with all applicable processes and procedures• Closes coordination with peers in construction, engineering, and project management• Resolves disputes among Exyte related groups and suppliers• Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• 5+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related required• Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment• Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment preferred• Project management experience is desirable• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred• Apics Certification preferred
