As the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Essential Anesthesia Management (EAM), you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic leadership across our clinical sites. Reporting directly to the Divisional President, you will oversee a comprehensive range of operational functions, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality anesthesia care while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. With a strong focus on both managerial responsibilities and hands-on clinical involvement, you will lead a dynamic team to achieve operational objectives and uphold EAM's commitment to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Operations leadership
•    Spearhead operational oversight and leadership across EAM's clinical sites, aligning activities with contractual obligations, budgetary parameters, and quality metrics.
•    Direct and mentor a team comprising regional and site chiefs, fostering a cohesive approach to achieving clinical and operational objectives.
•    Serve as the primary conduit for addressing clinical and contractual queries raised at the facility level, ensuring prompt resolution and alignment with organizational goals.
•    Ensure sites are fully staffed and compliant with all regulations, policies, and procedures through regular communication and coordination with practice managers.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical providers, offering support and guidance on operational processes, procedures, and culture.
•    Serve as operational coordination between regional and operations leadership, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across teams.
•    Monitor site progress through reports and dashboards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary.
•    Address operational performance factors that serve as barriers to achieving stated service line objectives, working closely with regional and site leadership.
•    Design, plan, and lead new site startups in collaboration with site leadership and cross-functional support teams, ensuring successful implementation and integration into EAM's operations.
•    Contribute to the response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new sites, providing input on budgeting, staffing strategies, and operational requirements.
•    Conduct regular meetings with hospital leadership to review performance metrics, address ongoing facility needs, and foster strong partnerships.
•    Collaborate with billing and credentialing departments to ensure seamless claims transmission, compliance with provider enrollment requirements, and adherence to billing procedures.

Clinical Obligations :
Cross-credential at facilities across regions as determined by senior clinical leadership, supporting growth strategies and contract maintenance efforts.
Fulfill clinical hours as needed, not exceeding [400 hours] annually, in alignment with organizational priorities and senior operations leadership directives.

Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing staffing models tailored to various clinical settings, including CRNA only, MD Only, and Medical direction.
Proficiency in analyzing market trends and industry benchmarks to inform contract negotiations and drive strategic decision-making.
Ability to leverage clinical expertise to provide operational guidance and support to clinical teams, driving excellence in patient care delivery.
Ability to identify and address variances to plan through comprehensive analysis and strategic adjustments.

Qualifications:
Hold a minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare administration and anesthesia services, with a strong track record of leadership and operational excellence.
Required qualifications include licensure as a CRNA or Physician Anesthesiologist, alongside completion of hospital credentialing requirements.
Bring 3-5 years of experience in regional or multi-site managerial roles, demonstrating proficiency in operational oversight and team leadership.
Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, is required.
Strong financial acumen with experience in building, managing, and communicating results relating departmental staffing budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.
Experience in optimizing staffing resources to enhance operational efficiency and meet patient care demands.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and designing pay structures that ensure alignment, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Exposure to various clinical settings, including Cardiac, Trauma, and other specialized areas, demonstrating a broad understanding of anesthesia services.
