Pm Bistro Attendant

We're looking for an enthusiastic PM Bistro attendant who is friendly and can offer our guests great customer service at our hotel bar/restaurant. Bartending experience is required. (2years)$15/hr+tips make this position an excellent opportunity for someone in the hospitality industry. Full/Part time available.Responsibilities:Understand recipe instructions, measurements, meal charts, and labels written in English and use all measuring tools properlyPerform other basic cooking duties as necessary, such as brewing coffee or tea, preparing soups, reducing sauces, and assisting other cooks in the kitchen if neededMaintain a clean, organized prep area and workstation at all times, and sanitize equipment after each shift or when we closeObserve all company-required food safety guidelines and protocols in the areas where food is prepared and kitchen equipment is utilizedUse the correct amounts of condiments, wash all fruits and vegetables to be peeled, diced, and sliced, slice meats, and mix a variety of saucesQualifications:Have some experience prepping food and the ability to work under the head chef/cook with minor supervisionUnderstanding of how to read recipes, meal charts, measuring tools, and labels in EnglishFlexibility to work weekend hours and holidays if necessary, as well as some extended hoursBasic familiarity with operating kitchen equipmentMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, pull heavy items, and stand on your feet for your entire shiftAbout Company:Feel welcome at Courtyard Vanderbilt/West End.
