Phlebotomist

Actalent is currently partnering with a laboratory in the Mount Pleasant area in need of a Phlebotomist to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications!
Description:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect and store specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100 correct Package specimens for transport Maintain patient and specimen information logs Skills & Qualifications:
1+ year of experience required High School Diploma or equivalent required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Comfortability to work in a fast paced environment Details:
