The People Technology Help Desk Support I role plays a crucial role in providing efficient and timely technical support and assistance for HR systems and projects. The primary responsibilities involve managing help desk inquiries through various channels, offering troubleshooting assistance, documenting issues and solutions, and ensuring effective communication with end-users.
Monitor and respond to cases entered into our internal case system (UKG People Assist) and through the team's support inbox. Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues. Troubleshoot system and data related issues. Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. Perform day-to-day maintenance of Marvin's People Technology platforms. Enter and update employee and job information into the HRIS application from various source documents. Assist team members to ensure data integrity through audits. Troubleshoot and correct data issues and help conduct root cause analysis to identify recommendations for preventing similar issues in the future or make corrections where possible. Participate in testing and new feature adoption as part of UKG quarterly releases or other internal releases. Run reports for customers, as well as create ad hoc reports. Drafts, reviews, and updates system process documents. Develop user guides and instructions for HR software. Assist in communication and change management efforts for People technology system platforms. Communication: Effectively influence and inform through oral and written communication. Confidentiality: Secure HR Systems and keep data confidential. Customer service-oriented mindset and a desire to help others. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites. High School Diploma or equivalent. 0+ years of related experience. Some experience working in a support capacity is ideal.
